St Davids is the smallest city in Britain, yet bursting with exciting art galleries, craft shops and steeped in local history.

St David, the Patron Saint of Wales, was born in St Davids around the year 500. On the site of his original monastery stands the famous Norman cathedral, built in 1181 to house the shrine of the Saint. The cathedral still welcomes thousands of visitors and pilgrims every year. The splendid 14th-century Bishops Palace is also a focus of historic and architectural interest.

Pembrokeshire is blessed with the most fantastic beaches. We have several near St Davids including Caerfai, Porthliski and Whitesands. Beaches can be accessed from the hotel via the coast path.

There are 182 miles of the most breath-taking coast path in Pembrokeshire. The wild flowers, once in bloom, carpet the coast path with the most glorious vibrant colours! The abundance of wildlife as a result is a rare treat.

Once on the coast path, look out for razorbills, fulmar, guillemots and shags, as these can be frequently seen. Also look out for seals, as they love to pop their heads out when you're least expecting them to.

From the centre of St Davids you can organise a boat trip and go whale and porpoise watching or take a trip around some of the offshore islands.

If it is theme parks you' re looking for then why not take a visit to Oakwood, which is about 40 minutes drive from the hotel.

The are so many places to visit, cheese making, wood turners, art galleries, craft shops, farm parks, heritage parks, castles to name just a few. You can tailor your holiday to be action-packed or leisurely.
